Where is Kathy? Is the coast clear? I got two eggs today. . . .one identical to Cora's last week, which I will assume is her second, and one smaller, which may be Lizzie's, or perhaps Jeanette's or Marianne's. I also witnessed second choice roo mating Cora. *sigh* my little babies are growing up.

Cetawin, I think I will print that picture and post it inside the coop. Ultrasuede can brag on his brother.

I think I will post a roo or two (not Luke) on here. Someone might want them just to have them? Free. Second and third choice roo and the two Columbos, who are sweeter than pie.

That will work. Pictures of a handsome stud muffin like Thor might help the girls laying too...or maybe they will kick Luke's butt and scream at him "There are nice roos out there buddy!"

Hatching experts- should I candle tomorrow, on day 7? Or wait until this weekend on day 10 to see who's developed?

Jeremy I candled on Day 7, tossed all clear or blood rings then I candled again on day 10...just the questionable ones and again 2 eggs on day 17 just to make sure. So it depends really. By day 7 thought you should see any clear non-developing eggs.

Kathy- I think it's the mountain air. I am kind of over-generous with treats, too. Scrambled egg or salmon and lettuce, broccoli, green beans, banana, oatmeal, pumpkin seeds at least 4-5-days a week. I can do that with only 15- you would be cooking for most of the day with your 7 zillion babies.

Cetawin- YAY CHEYENNE!!!!!! Way to go!!!!!

Jeremy- good luck, whatever you do-keep us posted.
