Tim, I went back and looked at the pics. The girls look pretty chunky. Couple of them could use more tail black, but I have one like that. In fact, she's almost solid white, but has an awesome 5 pt comb. One thing with the combs is that they are straight, not curved/wavy, even if they have an extra point. It's hard to get a wave out of the combs, it seems to me.

Good Morning everyone, HAPPY EASTER.
I moved my little tykes out of the house yesterday evening into the 2 week plus brooder but am still linning it with the other plastic brooder from the house. In another two weeks if mine and my hb's health holds up ,( Its questionable at this point. )I will be wanting to get some Dels.
I love baby chicks.

Kathy- Kadin and my DH need to get together- hey, fish on Easter sounds good to us!!! Hope you have the BEST day with that beautiful child!

It's any old excuse to feast at our house, i wish we didn't like to eat so much - we had a pre-Easter formal candlelight dinner last night of trout and mandarin orange salad and tonight's feast is lamb and asparagus. . . . . .the chickens are getting scrambled egg and lettuce salad with pumpkin seed garnish..... and it's SPRING!!!! I have daffodils and hyacinth and lower on down the mountain, in town, the trees are all starting to blossom!!!! I broke down and bought a few pansies and planted them by the chicken run door.

Crazyhen- get some Dels!!!!

Oh you bunch of tempters with your too cute fuzzy butts! now I'm trying not gather up the del eggs and hope one of the girls gos broody. lol I think the only thing keeping me is I kinda what some better stock first....but you never know. I thought 2 of the girl had made up my mind for me earlyer, I did not gather the eggs last night. and when I went out there they had a fit. but they were just being fussy girls.
Tonka is in trouble, that brat made a jump at me today. so I picked him up for a while. Tank was trying to act like he did not see what was going on. Tonka has been purdy testy lately, but I think if I get him set up with his own girls soon he will calm down.

I glad to here Cetawin is so close to home, she could even be there now I guess
