Ahyes I adore my grandson who just turned 6 years old. Chatted with him on the phone today and he wanted to know when he could come up and play with the chickens and ducks...he wants to, to quote him "hug that big bluish Thor"

I have ruined him already muahahahahahahahaha

Cetawin, So sorry about the theft. That gets me so angry. I guess I am a bit sheltered, but what makes some people think they deserve other peoples stuff!!!!!!!!

I just dont understand that mindset.

Kathyinmo, Beautiful eggs, beautiful chickens and wonderful set-up. I aspire to be like that.

Today after I go to my quilting group, I plan on finishing my coop and run, then move my 4 week olds out side for the first time. I think I can hang my heat lamp in the coop to keep them warm at night, and days here are in the 80's. Besides they are getting a little stinky in the basement. I will put out pics when I get them out there tonight. I am a bit nervous about critters getting to them as I know we have racoons and foxes. I guess I just have to make their pen critter proof.

And about 20 something boys, dont get me started. Although one of a matched pair (twins) just got accepted to Va Tech yesterday, the other is wandering aimlessly not sure what he is going to do. I am going to give him one more year at home, then the boot. I am ready for an empty nest....... Did I just say that?

Well, Ladyhawk, that wasn't a story that I wanted to hear this morning. I despise a thief! And I'm related to some, unfortunately.

re: my share of it...ummmm yeah, if you only knew the stuff that has been going down lately. I am ready to string up my 25 year old son, beat him for several hours while yelling "I did not raise you to be a completel idiot what the HELLO is wrong with you?"

Um, yeah, that was sort of what I was thinking last night about my own. I mentioned something to you on the phone, remember? Well, it's hitting the fan now. I may not be on here as much. I just can't concentrate. I know all you Dellie slaves can carry on without me, though!
Isaac is such an angel, he makes me smile daily. Now, if his silly attention-hound women would be as soothing to my nerves as he is...

Good Morning Human owned by Delaware!

It is Derby day and it is nasty nasty outside and raining tons. *sigh*

These are Ike's own kind, who are being generally a pain, wanting so much attention that I'm tripping over them, keeping poor Dutchie up on his outside roost in order to stay away from them. Isaac is just a sweetie. His older, other-breed ladies don't bother him at all. He's just a little "young and vigorous" for the oldest ones, but that's not his fault.

You know Cyn...those three wenches need to be controlled and stopped....with maybe muzzles and tieout leads. I still think they needs to be placed in a small hardwire cloth box and be sat near Dutchie and Ike and only able to see everyone and those beautiful wattles swaying in the breeze...then play them nothing but the the Barnie Theme Song until they break!

I do not normally propose mentally torturing birds but those women are asking for it and they need it...they cannot EAT roosters
