I vote for naming one of them Elizabeth!!!!! Oh, uh, I VOTE for naming them ALL after US!!!! Elizabeth, Kathy, Cetawin, Cynthia, Germaine, Gloria Jean, Laney, who else???? OK, OK, just kidding.

Cetawin, sorry about the cold- nothing as mean as a spring or summer cold- hope you feel better soon.

Thanks for the suggestions Kathy. I like Martha, Elizabeth, Frances, Florence and Thelma! If we add Blanche and Vivian to those names I'm only 2 away from naming them all.

I don't know about naming them after everyone here on the forum, I can only imagine the hysterical misunderstandings that would certainly happen... "I was outside today and I was shocked when Cetawin hopped right into my lap and started snuggling." OR "Laney was being quite a mean butt today, she kept nibbling at my toes, I guess that means no more flip flops while visiting the girls..."

Do you see my reasoning as to why not naming them after y'all?

By the way everyone, I'm getting a Lavender Orpington today!

I'm going to trade one of my BW Ameraucana cockerels for her, I'm very excited. Finally, an Orpington and it's LAVENDER! AH!

ETA: Cetawin, I know how much it sucks to be sick in the summertime. I just got over the flu, or something flu-like. Stupid me, I went to the doctor and got a persrciption but the next day I started feeling better so I decided that I didn't need the meds, well throughout the week I fell just off, then by last weekend I was sick all over again. Needless to say, I started taking the medicine and now I'm feeling much better. I hope you feel much better soon.

A friend in CA, our member Ellie here, named one of the barred EEs she hatched from my eggs Cynthia. Cynthia is broody and I had to send her another box of "emergency eggs" for Cynthia, LOL.

Stewart and his little rival are the only ones that I need. I'm thinking about calling the other cockerel Evil Stewart for now... heh. I rehomed the Colombian marked boy, he went to a family that's going to use him as a pet rooster. Our dwarf cockerel has passed over to the other side and is now resting underneath the plum tree in the back yard. So I'm all set in the roo department.

We can all think of 2 more names, I'm sure! Martha, Vivian, Elizabeth, Frances, Florence, Thelma and Blanche. What about Betty? I think of Betty White (did anyone see her on SNL recently, L0L!) Delawares are white, so Betty fits enough for me! Now we only need one more name!

The actresses names are: Beatrice Arthur, Betty White, Rue McClanahan, Estelle Getty. Any of those names sound good to ya?

My mom's name is Bettye too! Though her mother put an extra "e" on the end, only she knows why?

I'll never have to worry about introducing Betty as my alpha roo, that's Stewart's job! He won't have anyone taking it away. Even if Betty turns out to be a Bobby. Bobby will go to a new farm somewhere nice, in the countryside.

I think I like Dorothy, it reminds me of the Wizard of Oz as well as Golden Girls. I think that just might be my 9th name!
