Doesn't look like his tail feathers are right

Yard full o'rocks is our resident Rock expert he has CRs

Is he hatchery stock? If he is a hatchery Del that could explain the incorrect tail feathers.

ETA: It also looks as if his barring in the hackles is very light. My Del cockerel has much, much darker barring. Maybe he's a "hen feathered" cockerel. Where instead of the male plumage he has the female. That can happen, right? I swear I've read about it somewhere here on the forum.

It is very hard to say about the tail feathers, I honestly can't get very close to this bird... on the other hand my Barred rocks I nearly step on. I will try my best to get some pics tonight and have them posted later on.

Funny thing is no, this chicken lives up to the term, always runs away from me and is very quick.
My Barred Rocks peck my shoe laces all the time.

This bird is very quite as well, not a peep really clucks though when i try to pick her up to get her back in their pen.

I will post some more pics as I looked at the dates and those pics are almost two weeks old or close to it... maybe there are some noticeable changes??

Thanks very much every one so far...

Have you looked at those "TREE TRUNK" legs in that last picture??

Doesn't say pullet to me.....ok, where's Cyn?????!!!!!

That's what my Grandfather said as well... He is in hospital and I brought up a slide show and he goes "wow that is a weird looking Silver Sussex.....puts on his glasses and say...Oh that's a weird looking Delaware, those legs are mighty huge..looks like a roo."
