Show off your Delawares! *PIC HEAVY*

It is, "developing." I mean, it was barred and now it is like a wick, it is progressingly white. Will it molt out?

Speaking of molting, OMG .... my place looks like a feather factory all of a sudden!

I rake my pens every weekend, and I can not believe how many feathers have accumulated the past few days!

Kathy, it could molt out, especially if the boy is under a year old. I know Orps will sometimes have a white feather tucked in the wings, and it molts out. My Katia did, and it has not grown back, and I read that somewhere else, too. Wait and see, especially if it wasn't there before.

I took a bunch of pictures today. Jacob is a real mess with his molt. Some of the girls look worst than others. Anyway, this is how they look .... molt and all. We just had some rain and it is muddy and yukky out.

But, up first is .....

We call her, "Floozy." She seems to think she has to be out socializing with the others, instead of staying with her own kind. Or, maybe she thinks, "the grass is greener on the other side of the fence?"

Every day she does this....

Hello Beth! I think I made it to the right forum. It was very difficult to find. There has to be an easier way. Great meeting last night about the Delaware Club. I will be working on that today. I don't even know if this is going to post, so I should stop typing and try.
