Show off your Delawares! *PIC HEAVY*

Cyn I always thought it was sort of cool that Luke inherited that from Ike- sort of a family trait- Luke's molted out and I never got to see if it would grow back or not.

Hi Everyone- WOW have I been gone for a long time. And I see that alot has been going on. I would love to know more about the new club. How fun it sounds. Where/how do you meet? What stage are you at? Can I join, or help with anything? PLEASE give me the details

My birds are doing great right now. Even though they are going through their molt. I really would love to get some more eggs or chicks. I have ended up with only 3 hens. And out of those 3 ,only one has the right barring. And I wouldn't neccesarily say she has the right body type. So, I am really in need of some hens that I can work with.
My roos, I have weeded down to 3 out of 12. They are nice tempered, and ok body confirmation. Not bad, but not great either.

So Kathy, if you have some available let me know.

Cynthia, I don't know what happened to that Delaware pic. Thank you for pointing it out. I am going to fix that right away.

And just for the record Jeremy, Beth, etc., yes, I have the cheesy history of the Delaware listed on my site from the ALBC. You know, that description that is everywhere and is so annoying. Yep, I borrowed it and put it on my page cause I was lazy.

I am trying to navigate through things on BYC, but it is very tough. I am not sure why some of you guys from the meeting last night don't like the Yahoo! group but do like this. I am soooo overwhelmed and don't know where to go. I am going to give it a try and see if it grows on me. I hope to find those other threads that were mentioned.

Keep your fingers crossed this posts. Oh, and I did find that link to subscribe - thank you!!

It is hard to tell, I think Jacob looks more like Ike than Oliver or Alexander do - something about the stance and expression, but that is not always passed on - and if they are all related not too many generations back, that little tail feather could still be a family trait- does anyone know how closely Cyn and Claudia's birds are? Cyn?

Tacey- I pm'd you!

Kerryann- it is a matter of getting to know the divisions, and what thread is likely to be in what division - when you log on, go to the message board, and that gives you categories. Most if not all the Delaware threads are in the Breeds, Genetics and Showing section, so click on that, and all the threads contained in there show up - it's nice because all you have to do is scroll up or click on a page number to see everything everyone has written. I think you will like it once you get used to it.
It's bigger than the Del yahoo group, so harder to keep up with all the flying fingers!
