The "4" look of a BIG egg that seems more glossy and evenly pinkish brown... those are consistant. And of course a normal #1 egg is consistant too.
On the #2 egg... I would like to tell you that I have a "leghorn" who lays blue eggs. Turns out she is a barnyard cross.... suites me just fine.
