Show off your Delawares! *PIC HEAVY*

I last weighed him at about 16 weeks when I was figuring max shipping rates for someone who wanted some of the others. He weighed 7 lbs then... So no. I haven't since he was small. LOL

He's a big guy and he's not all that old yet. What Cyn? Seven months now? I've lost track...

He is HUMONGOUS! They were hatched about February 27th, Cher, so maybe 34 weeks old? My second choice probably ended up that large, but though he did get to a large size a bit faster than Ike, Isaac did catch up quickly. He's large enough that if someone saw him running toward them, like he does me when he sees me coming, they'd probably climb a tree, LOL!

Now THAT is one heck of a rooster, I'd like to turn some of my hens in with him for a day or two...

Roozilla... I like it! Haha. Well, Cynthia, I looked up Bantam Delaware Rooster and Delaware Rooster on google and pictures of our boys came up on the very FIRST page. It could be different now, but I liked it when I saw it

Waitin' on more pictures, I'll post some of mine soon, the new ones I took of the three week old babies

Of course, I'm not sure I have a pure Delaware baby in there or not

I hope I do.

How in the world did I miss this thread? I just posted pics of my flock here

After reading the entire thread, I am itching to go look at my pullets. But it's dark, have to wait till morning.

I also have 27 babies in the brooder that I just hatched from Bill Braden eggs. I can't wait to see how they turn out. There is no way I can keep more than half of them, just no room. So I might have some chickens for sale in 3 or 4 months, if they look good, otherwise they're dinner.

And my little silky is setting on 5 of Buddy Buddy's eggs. I am very interested in how they might turn out.
