I have five girls laying, big Isaac, and Ike's daughter, Gracie, who is about 15 weeks old and almost ready to go into the breeding flock.

I have 25 babies all from Isaac .I am going to wait till they grow up then pick out the ten I want.I am leaning toward 8 hens and 2 roo,s. I am also considering adding some from a different line.

Hmm, lets see. We have 1 Delaware Rooster, 2 Delaware Cockerels, 7 Delaware Hens, 9 Delaware Pullets, and 3 Delaware Chicks, about 4 weeks old

I have a trio. But I'm hoping for more. Two of my new coops have made it onto the property but we got hit by Ida's rain before we could unload the trailer and go back for the last new coop. Once I get those cleaned and stained all bets are off and the breeding begins.

I am focusing on two breeds, Delawares and Mottled Javas. I just put the APA Standard of Perfection on my Christmas list. I'm studying as much as I can about the individual parts of the birds, and then trying to put it all back together.......
