Show off your Delawares! *PIC HEAVY*

Oh yes...Dellie babies are remarkable to me in their zest and zeal...I love the way they are always busy looking for something new and something to get into. Cannonball has launched herself at me since day 1...I do not expect that ever to change. Always launch ready.

Coretta,
Hey, I almost missed your post- I know there are Banty Delawares, and they are very rare- do yours have yellow legs? And are the hackles marked with any barring? It's hard to see in that picture. The pullets have black tail feathers and they look nice and round, but you need Speckledhen and the other more expert opinions. . . .

DOES CORETTA HAVE BANTY DELLIES?????

I seriously have to get a picture ... you guys have to see the splash sizzle and delaware pullet that I have growing out. Her juvenille plummage has been kind of delaware over blue partridge, it's actually barred over wild markings but her mature feathers are coming in delaware. Yellow legs, normal delaware face, pale blue on her earlobes makes it look like she's wearing earrings. Chuckle. Her not so cool name is Toad, as in - when she hatched she was a fat little toad, on Halloween. So it stuck. Outcome should be interesting, she's so sweet she's staying in my layer group in any case. Hops on momma's lap and wants a nap. Too cute. If the weather holds I'll shoot for pics tomorrow.

Man I do not come on here for a few weeks and I get way behind. My chicks I got from Speckledhen are doing great as I see are a lot of yours.I did have a issue with a coon and hawk that took out a few of my babies but I still have 17 great looking babies that I promise I will take pictures of very soon.I am shooting for Thursday to get the pictures because of my work schedule.I am glad everyone is still Dellie crazy.

Hi JamesA!!! Yes! Post pictures!
Walkswithdog- YES!! Post pictures!!!

DO I LOVE pictures? Yes!

Can any of you identify Coretta's bantams as Dellies?

Del Lovers....

Thanks for all the prayers!! Interview just concluded and I have been invited out to their corporate offices in California (will know details on Monday) and even perhaps a trip to China to their manufacturing facilities. I interviewed with the owner of the business and the general manager (for interpreter purposes I think), both of whom were very nice ladies. Seems my experience is an almost perfect fit (hope I'm not jinxing myself here) for what they are looking to accomplish

Looks like things are looking up!!

God works in mysterious ways sometimes.....

Anyway, thank you all again

Yard full of "it"

Did you dazzle them with your brilliance, or baffle them with your bull...., Oh, never mind ... I know the answer!

Sounds like great news! Good for you. China! Wow, I wonder what kind of chickens they have there, that we don't have? Do they export eggs, or allow you to take eggs in luggage from there? Hhmmmmm, thinkin' here!

Congratulations on a successful interview, Scott!

Kathy, the owner was a Chinese lady! Not sure if she would have even UNDERSTOOD if I tried to baffle her with BS, bet she had a hard enough time with my southern accent......but, as a good salesman, a little "fluff" never hurts!!
