It is grounds for arrest (by the poultry police), I have heard, if you don't spell it correctly!​

No the poultry police only get you for Americauna, Americana, etc etc and Deleware and Bard Rock and Austrolorp Maran, Marran and Marand would be acceptable.

I just say "CHICKEN" and can specify "with stripes, funny markings or spots" that sums it up.
