Not sure, Shelley. Mine hatched in February before yours. I'll ask Janet so we can know if mine and yours are related. She had two roosters with that flock mine came from, but her George was the alpha one. Could be we have some half siblings, full siblings or some completely unrelated ones.

Kathy, Cyn, Cetawin, thank you so much. . . . .I am going to make my babies a special treat- and we'll celebrate his special little life together. He was a tough little guy to have made it through those first weeks- I was so proud of him, too. Everyone is still very quiet in the brooder. . . .

Thanks, Rustyswoman. I am trying to cheer myself up with chocolate, and helping name someone else's chicks. Everyone has had their oatmeal/egg/pancake mix treat along with a HUGE lecture on playing rough. I am truly really grateful I had him for as long as I did.

You don't even want to know how many lines she has of all her other varieties of poultry. She's just crazy I tell ya, crazy!

Beth, I went out and put his little name on our "memorial cross" which Cheyenne made for the burial site of birds we have lost. It will stay there forever because the lady moving in after we leave is the homeowner and she is keeping some of my girls and will take care of that spot.
