You two crack me up. Do you have any idea of the number of people who offered to ship pounds and fat to me? If it were possible and I had accepted the offers I would be weighing that of a small elephant.

Cyn Fattie looked at those sunflower seeds like they were a poisonous snake with an attitude. And Thor turned his beak up at them and would not try a single one. hahahaha And I just bought 40 pounds of the danged things.

Sorry Mr Full of it Cyn says I should not buy that line from you so I must trust her because she is my dear friend...so do not even try to convince me you have pounds to give me.

That is NOT always a bad thing. My DH was a mere 168 lbs (army standards) when we married and I could hip toss him with ease...now at 188 lbs I have to work at hip tossing him. Love it!

Cetawin, try mixing them in with something Thor and Fattie really like. I bet if they see Cannonball eating away at them a few more times, they'll just HAVE to try them. And I hope that you enjoy eating like that for the rest of us, who don't dare, shouldn't and wish they could!!! (I am writing this while eating my itty, bitty spinach salad.)

YardFull - we love you the way you are. My DH has a little extra around the middle and I think it's kind of sexy.

Thanks Beth....all of my "extra" is "round my middle". Cetawin...I was 150ish when we married (almost 18 yrs ago) and I'm at 162 now. At 5' 8" I can't carry much more, but what I am carrying is definitely middle aged "spread"

I would SOOOO like to have the abs back I had in college, but, I guess that's in my past!!
 
Scott, if it really bugs you, try sit ups. Your Delawares could hold down your ankles.

Seriously, 12 pounds is not a whole lot. Try something like the South Beach Diet - I used that when I needed to lose about 30 pounds, and it worked like a dream. It is a lifestyle kind of diet, and really easy.

I have actually been trying a "version" of South Beach since after Jan 1 (lots of protein, high fiber and lower carbs) and I've dropped about 5lbs. Holiday sweets were my undoing!!
