Laney I have to many breeds now but if I added another one it would be Java's.I love the old breeds.Those molted java's are so pretty.Almost like a black speckled sussex.

How is the weather this morning, Dellie friends? Wet snow here- drat it all!

It poured rain all night after snowing yesterday and the temps are dropping into the teens, so it will be an ice skating rink out there. Poor birds, especially Ike and Zane, who can't get out at all.

Morning everyone. Nothing but mild, sunny days here in Northern CA for the past couple of weeks. Our nights are chilly still, dipping to the mid 40s, but it looks as if Spring is getting a head start here on the West Coast. Days have consistently been in the mid 60s.

I divided and replanted my geraniums Sunday, I've got over 50 plants now that are taking root- I don't know what I'm going to do with them all... I collected 11 eggs today, 1 from each hen.

My mom called me from Central Texas saying they got 8" of snow over the weekend. I just laughed.

Thank goodness we dodged the bullet here....they were calling for 3-4" of "that white stuff" and we got nuthin!!

So, Pepper and his ladies are out and about today....

Sun is shining...but BOY its cold!! About 32F outside with a HIGH today of 36F.....oh well, at least we didn't get more snow

Good morning all Dellie lovers- Everything is going good in the incubator. I have 19 Dellie eggs and 6 Mottled Java eggs from my girls in there. So, we will be candling on Fri night or Sat night. I CAN'T WAIT!

It has been hot the last couple days. My body still has to adjust to the increase in temps. I am sorry you all are still wading in snow. We are finally starting to dry out from all the rains. Hopefully I can start planting my garden soon.
