Show off your Delawares! *PIC HEAVY*

No snow here in CA, just woke up to a wet dreary morning. Yesterday it was sunny and mild today it's rainy, chilly and windy. UGH.

So of course the Delawares are half white and half brown this morning, because they don't have the sense to stay in the coop with everyone else. They wanna go beg for scratch by the gate.

All this rain is good for the trees I just transplanted though!

I could hear my Del roos and Ultrasuede crowing up a storm this morning- I opened the door- they all looked outside, and then gave me the stink eye like it's all my fault that white stuff is out there. I do think they are Ike's boys alright. Well, except for Ultrasuede who is the Son of Perfection. There, we mentioned him. That should bring Cetawin out with news of Cannonball.

Jeremy, I think you need to come for a LOOOOONG visit. You can shovel my deck.

We are having a heat wave here in the far north. It will be above freezing! By the weekend it should hit the 40's. According to the radio this morning that's bathing suit weather around here.

Now we have muddy wet snow. Yea! I keep saying I'm gonna get pictures of all the girls, but now they are just big mud balls. My new avatar is my roo Gonzo as a youngster last summer. He is super sweet and loves hugs and treats. Right now he's getting worn out trying to keep the young guy away from all the girls.


I've got Del eggs in the bator (2/27). This is our first test hatch. I'm doing well on waiting for the hatch date, but boy is it hard waiting to be able to candle them. I so want to know if anything is growing.

Snow here has slowed down, but, kids did get out of school early. Had to run the "daddy taxi" about noon. Right now its snowing, but pretty light. Were saying we had the possibility of up to 4"......yuuuukkkk!!

I think the biggest concern now is ICE. Supposed to be around 28F here tonite

Sorry all, I am really trrying to get stuff done around here and not be online as much with a move coming up soon...I get my u-haul in 24 day

CB is doing well...irritated cause she is in the dog crate but her beak is in there but it is going to be slow healing for sure. Thor is good and irritate because CB is "missing" and we are all sick of this rain.


Folks please please please get rid of all this snow....you got 2 weeks and I want it all gone....please please
