Well, Jennifer is a lucky lady and I mean that.

You may be a salesman, but you're very sincere, and you ain't foolin' me, buddy. I've had stupid headache since 3 a.m. this morning and I may have to resort to some "rheumatiz medicine" myself if it doesn't ease off soon.


It's weird that I was so unsettled about selling three of my Delaware hens today, but now, I feel fine about it. I think it was that, plus the stupid weather front that moved through and is still making it pretty yucky out there, caused my headache. Down to 37 adult chickens now (plus 16 chicks, most of whom will be sold).

You have to look at it as a positive. You've hooked another family into Delawares

and found a beautiful home fitting of your Diva girls. I know it hurts to watch them go.

Kathy, keep us posted on your hatching. In the meantime, you can get some nasal saline to flush your nose with. In addition to that the vaporub is actually what a lot of folks who have to do "dirty jobs" use.

Scott, you had better keep in touch, or we are going to whoop your butt!!!

Beth, you don't need Silkies, too many have fallen for their addictive qualities. You'll just get one to help you hatch. Then you'll need one to keep her company. Then you'll need another of a different color and it will go on and on. It's like Lays potato chips, you can't have just one! Get an incubator, it will hold more eggs anyway!

Jeremy, I've subscribed to your hatching thread, can't wait!
