[And yes, Kathy hasa "rubbed off" on me. My Sportsman is running like a freight train. Right now I have BBS rocks and SQ Barred Rocks in there....tomorrow is Day 18, so looking to have an "almost Easter" hatch. I am going to use the SQ Barred Rocks to improve my BBS bunch and maybe even my Columbians.

WooHoo .... a new hatch is near! Ya know, you just gotta get some good out of that thing! Keep it running!

Hey, Scott, I am really gettin into those Rocks! I have some Barred Rocks I am setting tomorrow (from Jamie AKA Ducktang). I also have a few BR chicks on the way. Hhmmmm, thinkin I may need some BBS Rocks now!

As soon as my young Columbian Rock Cockerels get a little older, I am going to breed them to my blue and splash rocks. Will be getting a "Sapphire rock" by spring next year!! Will be blue where the Columbian is black....a poor mans version of the Coronation Sussex!!! (just blue instead of lavender)

Oh, Scott, you know I like a project! That sounds like a great one! The Sapphire Rock sounds like one I would like, too! Right now I am heavy with chicks, so I need to wait a little while. But I WILL be calling on you for eggs, if they are available!

I have some lavenders that I am putting with my Light Sussex, and am gonna make some Coronation, too! I have quite a few lavenders, so I need to use them on something, right!​

Cyn....I have 8 of the 13 I set that are viable right now. Let's see what I get and perhaps we can "share" them. I will certainly not need 8 BRs and maybe between the 2 of us we can keep hens and roos from this breeding to keep them going
