Show off your Delawares! *PIC HEAVY*

Hello all!

CB's owies are okay...getting bag balm and triple antibiotic ointment several times per day. Crazy mouthy thing. Although she got in a good lick or two because Fattie has some war wounds too.

How can Dellies dominate the world if they are busy messing with each other?

Well, I went to Waffle House with DH last night for a bowl of grits. The manager handed me application and offered me a job. hahahahaha Crazy night for sure. I am off with hubby so will see you all in a bit.

Kathy, I can't remember where I found it- maybe it was linked to a post in Guinea Fowl Galore's hatching thread? People are betting whether you can keep the 'bator unplugged for the rest of the year-

oh,and I pm'd you.

Cyn,

I'm praying for Ivy, I hope that she has a pain free passing right next to her darling Lexie. Her grandbabies are spread all over. I have two Fern Babies, a Barbara and a Lexie. It has turned out to be 2 or 3 Roo's and a Hen, so I will only be keeping 2 or 3 of them, which means they will spread even farther! (I should say Shannon will only be keeping 2 or 3, only 1 roo, she has claimed them for her own.)

Beth, put me down for a no on Kathy...I say she breaks late July to early August.

Zephyr, Kermy sounds like a dream!!! My Biden would just spend his time mounting the young hens! Ok, I'm not sure if he would do that with the ones that are only 6 weeks or so old.

Ivy is laying underneath the coop with her faithful friend, Lexie, next to her. Will check her when we put them in for the night.

Ladyhawk, sent you a video of Suede (let it buffer before you try to watch it--it's a big file).

Well, Ivy is alive, but looking pretty bad. She is still walking and drinking water, but her eyes look vacant and tired and her color is dark. I'll report on her tomorrow. Lexie will be lost, poor thing. I hate when they lose their closest friends. So far, Lexie's only issue is the arthritis in her poor gnarly feet. She is still laying just fine several times a week.

To get back to Delawares, my Maxie is the one I call "Mouth of the South". She bellows at the top of her lungs, sounds like a cow. Tonight, we got a cheapie video recorder and I'm going to try to get something with her doing her daily performance. She is soooo loud!
