Good Morning Humans Owned by Delawares!
Cyn, I agree 100% I do prefer Thor to my son right now and I can state a good case for it. Thor is loving, squeezeable, always happy to see me, thinks I am Da Bomb, listens when I talk to him and never says anything cross to me....Roosters are better than kids. I think I shall have that made inot a bumper sticker.
Beth, hug your DH and thank him for the offer (I shall keep it in the memory banks for future use). Thankfully my DH is rational when my temper comes into play...he said he evaluated the situation and thought that keeping me here was best for my son, my sanity, my criminal record and my chickens. I hate to admit it but if he spoke to me that way face to face...I would tear his head from body just so I could repeatedly smack that smart mouth and not have to reach up so much to do it. (he is 6'4" and I am 5'2")
Well the Derby was a good race but the weather was absolutely horrid and today is not much better. My poor birds will not get outside today at all. We have a cat that has adopted us...she is a pretty thing...big fluffy gray cat wa curled up in a milk crate in a stall of the barn yeterday during the storm...of course Cheyenne had to feed her so it does not look like she is leaving anytime soon. So Cheyenne bought her food, food and water dishes, a flea collar and a brush last night
I see the writing on the wall...that "okay she can stay as a mouser in the barn and such" cat is going to end up sneaking into Cheyenne's room somehow. Gotta love a cat who is skilled in breaking and entering which is surely what will be the response one day to "Why is the cat in the house and how did she get in your room?" I will hear "Mom I have no idea really"
If the rain slows down I will get a pic of her for you which reminds me, I need to check the cat to see if it is a her and not a him.
