Thanks, Kathy- Eleanor is the head hen- Cora has a better comb, but El is the chunkiest. I think I will try putting little Janie in with Lizzie and some strawberries and see if they can be buds, then try a third hen and then see if I can move them all back in the coop together-

Actually, I should dump Ultrasuede in with the Terrorists, Desiree, Katia and Valentina, for an hour or so. Doesn't matter if he is twice their size, I would bet on Desiree!

I know what ya mean! I am having to switch and change pens and coops every once in awhile, to keep things in check here! Since mine all see each other anyway, it usually isn't a problem. Good luck on your changes!

Isaac molted out the mostly white tail feather! I was so happy about that. Wonder if it will grow back in the same way or barred all the way down like it should be.

Woman will you understand... SUEDE IS PERFECT and ISAAC IS PERFECT....leave the boy's white feather alone....it gives him character like silver hair on a man's temple area.

Ya keep picking on his feather and I am gonna tell him when I get there. Right before I hand him a blueberry pancake and tell him how perfect he is.

I didn't pluck it, I swear! I was strong. It went all by itself. No matter what, all my boys (except Dutch and not sure about Levi yet) are perfect!

They are ALL perfect, and I was being sarcastic about dumping my beautiful perfect naughty boy in with the terrorists. Although I must admit I did NOT like him dragging poor Lizzie around by the comb. Truth be told, I am hoping he thumps the Terrorist Trio and gets them to quit chasing Silk and Satin. They don't do it often, and the run is big enough that they have lots of room to duck out, but everyone once in a while you hear all the drama queens shrieking and running around after each other.

Ultrasuede has the one long barred tail feather left after having been plucked? or having molted? the rest of the long ones. I am trying to see if any more are coming back in barred.

I bet Isaac grows back perfect barred feathers - he is still in his "developing" years, right? Lizzie likes being in her little solitary confinement cage, although she has figure out how to get out of it, and I need to do a little carpentry work. I came home and she came running down the back yard to meet me.

Levi is perfect. It's already obvious Cynthia, don't even doubt it for a minute.

Levi is grabbing his women now, who scream in horror and struggle violently to get away from him. Yesterday, DH told me that when he was in the pen late yesterday, he felt someone peck at his leg and when he looked down, it was Levi, asking to be picked up. I hope he stays sweet. He's so handsome and colorful. His girls will be squatting soon. Their combs are red and even Tiny's little face and earlobes are bright red.
