You say 77* for you? Oh, it must feel like heaven! Sounds like Lizzie is adjusting okay then? I hope it all works out for her.
I am so worried about my chickens and this hot hot hot weather! I put ice blocks out, and ice in their water. It just seems to me that they are not drinking enough water. Much less feed, as well. They were out all day, and I hardly saw them, as they were in the timber and under shade most of the time. Alot of dust baths going on, too.
Tonight, at roost time, I see 2 of the girls and roo #2 were huddled in a corner. Back to that again, I guess. I picked each one up, and put them on the roost. I don't know why they do not go to roost. I had them broke of that in their other pen. I guess I will just try it again, in their new home.
