Yes, y'all are closer, and certainly more conveniently located. But I have something you all DON'T have! Nice, cool, [84 degrees fahrenheit] dry [less than 25% RH] air, and nice gentle breezes of about 5 mph. So neener, neener, neener!

If the whole idea is to relax in temperature and climactic conditions that are an improvement on what she is already experiencing, then I think I've got ya all beat, hands down! NO contest!!

If you can- I don't know if I cut and pasted correctly. It's 80" tall, and 3 x 4 inside- do you think I can adapt this for a grow out house or a quarantine house or for a trio? It's solid as a rock and I am picking it up Saturday. It's clean, needs very little work as is, and was dirt cheap. I could not buy HALF the materials for what it cost. AND it's not so heavy that DH and I can't move it AND it's 1/2 hour away. (Still wish I could have gotten your firetower coop, Cyn)

Sorry, sorry, sorry I know this isn't the coop section, but it would be for Dellies and "our" Orps! And I trust your opinions better than anyone elses. I could enclose the bottom and make it a two story. . . maybe??

Beth, wish you could have gotten the Firetower, too. It has twice the interior room that little coop on CL does, but every time I turn around, I'm using it for something. What I'd like to do is build my big super-coop and use the old ones like we do the Firetower.

Beth! Grab that coop NOW!! OMGosh! I could so totally use that right now. I bet if a person put the right roosting bars in there, you could accommodate more than just three! But the little lower run would definitely have to be expanded to accommodate more birds if you did. For your purposes, however, I should think it would serve quite well!

65 degrees??? Brrrrrrr!!!! I can never understand why anyone would air condition their home to a lower temperature in the summer, than what they would heat it too in the winter. My aunt used to do that too. What's up with that????

Noooooo...Cyn needs to come see ME!!! I have plenty of good things to drink for whatever ails ya. Lots of sweet, friendly chickens, a crazy old mutt that won't take no for an answer when it comes to fetching, and a cat who insists on inspecting every lap that comes to visit. Besides! It's MY turn darnit!!!
