Where did you show her? I don't recall what area you are from.

We're located in Eastern Oregon but the show was with Idaho Bird Breeders Association in Caldwell, ID. It was a lot of fun, first show with this flock.. well.. just Alice!! Apparently she was enough though

Today is Day 18 for my Dellie eggs! There are only the three, but sure am hoping for at least two pullets. Lost an older layer yesterday, so have lost six hens this year, have so many from 3-5 years old, and need new young ones coming along.

Ok just set 25 eggs today. don't expect them all to hatch but at least I can get a head start in the spring.

Now the dels are doing good, better than the others as I think I've mentioned. They only have Nick to contend with. The other girls have 4 roos, which is to many i'm sure. Still I would expect more eggs as there are more of them.

I could use a few more eggs a day and have the lights on for more daylight. They both have a white light. The dels ahve a white heat light. the other flock a red heatlight and a plain white light. Think that makes a dif.? They are both out in the run everyday. The runs are covered mostly so they are protected from the crappy NY weather. No snow but some frost. Not in the runs though.

Well have fun today
