Show Off Your Games!

I used to mix my own equal parts pigeon conditioner, animax, layer, and half parts cracked corn & black oil sunflower seeds. But now everybody gets protrition layer. It's smaller than a regular layer everybody loves it had zero issues with it and a lot easier on me and total cleanup. And each bird gets 4oz a day. Roughly a tuna can fill. I have a scoop that measures out

Seems to me that would be awesome with the game eggs, Wish I had some to do it with this year, but looks like it will be a couple of years before I get to where I can do it. I can't wait until when I get to that point. But with one rooster right now and some eggs incubating, I don't think it will be possible for a few years. It has taken me 16 years to get to where I am with the Emus and after yesterday I think we are going to let them all go this year or next year. I prefer smaller much smaller.

Little man is all alone now, Brownie had to be put down yesterday we have been noticing no eggs lately so went into her igloo and found pieces of cooked egg in her poops, which means internal hatching. So instead of letting her suffer we took her out and put her down. So now to find him a girl that is sweet and little. We tried our little red, but she wanted to fight him, so that didn't work. But for now, he can finish getting better without having to worry to much about a lady being around. The only hen that I have that gets along with him is my naked neck and she scares him she is so big.

Figured I better ask, Little man doesn't eat the corn like my other chickens do what is the best food for him??? I have him eating scratch right now, along with some leftovers. But I have to wonder what you guys normally feed your games. I want him to have what is best for him.
I start my chicks out with pure Rena mill game bird starter 19% pro than at 4 months and forever its 50%game starter 50% game layena on one side than a mix of sweet feed, pigeon feed, ans small amount of cracked corn all of the later is mixed in 200 gall barrel then at feed time mix 50/50 crumbles with the feed grain mix. I treat my game fowl just like my game birds not like chickens that is a good way to look at it that's what a wise old cocker ones told me and I have done that and it works for me.

14 high noon hatch/ leiper chicks I just got today from the man how made this blood Gary cooper. Gary is as first class breeder and a first class gentlemen. if his fowl are like there breeder they will be some top shelf fowl. I ordered 1 dozen chicks 6 leiper 6 high noons and he sent me 14 chicks not to mention he is a nice guy to deal with and he knows his birds and he can tell you there make up back to the first bird. if your looking for game fowl tack a look at high noon hatch game farm.
This guy does have some good birds. My family of Leipers are made up of his Leipers and the Leipers of Pinnon Hatch farms.
I bred more to the High Noon gamefarm side as I found his Leipers to be more calm and easily handled. If you wanted some
good Leiper blood, you've made a good choice. Check out some of my photos.

game life you have some nice leipers got to love them big ol white puff ball on there back's. I like the fact that high noon gary cooper only haves 2 family of fowl they are what he likes and makes them the best they can be that's y I went with the high noons and his leipers and the fact I HAVE NOT HERD NOT 1 BAD THING ABOUT GARY COOPERS BIRDS not one and he is a nice guy to work with and to talk birds with. also I have bin told pinnon leipers are rat grave leipers did you get thim from herman or bruce jones

His great grandparents were given to me by neighbor, a local cocker... dont know where he aquired his leipers. But I added grey and green leg hatch to the line to come up with this fine specimen "Fabio" Lol

They are Rat Graves, I got them from Bruce. Actually the Leiper in my avatar is one directly from him. I bred him to
some Leiper hens from Gary Cooper, I then took the pullets from this mating and bred them back to a Leiper cock
from Gary Cooper. The results were amazing.
I made a few different blends of the two lines, but for me this was the most impressive.

chick on right is a Redmond grey/leiper cross and on left is a leiper/muff cross . I cant figure out y the grey cross is so dark unless its a throw back from the black fowl that went in to remonds decades ago. also I wood like to now what is the factor in muffs that determine the black muff is it the Brest that determines the color of the muff because I hope they are black that's what I want note the muff visible on this chick
