Thank you...it was tough, he didn't kill it but had taken a huge chunk out of its head so...had to make the call of what was best.

But yes...these are very talkative! They start quacking for me at 7a on the dot to refill food and water! They're enjoying days outside, but still coming in to their brooder for the nights. Still doing a see no touch with the rest of the flock...the other ducks and chickens don't seem phased at all, BB goose and Chance though are obsessed...😒
 
Yep I keep my 2 geese away from babies for at least 3-4 weeks only can they see them through fencing. They are just too obsessed. Right now Sam and Missy are separated from everyone because Opie my Muscovy Drake and Sam got into a fight last week and Sam is injured at the ankle. Always something with these critters. That had to be a hard thing to come up on. :hugs

Yep...Tom the drake is starting up his antics too! The only ones allowed to "free range" right now are the chickens! The male hormones are in full swing here...poultry and human!!! I need a vacation....
