I am falling in love with the darker white eye peas! It is true what you all say....it's hard to have just one pair

I would love a bronze WE pied, but holy cow are they expensive right now!!! So I'll just drool over everyone else's birds.

All peafowl seem to look beautiful when they have white eyes.

3BirdGirlz, I am not sure about Bronze WE Pied but I know Bronze WE peafowl are awesome. I have some peachicks out of Bronze WE peafowl.

Who knows maybe you will get them back eventually. It is good to be positive. I absolutely love the peacock so I checked on Craigslist to see what peafowl are for sale. I found a listing with an opal white eyed peacock listed as a silver peacock. Someone else has shown interest but I asked the seller to talk to the other buyer who is getting two other birds. If all goes well my opal spalding hen will have a new boyfriend in a few days! I could give you some eggs from them...

Awwww, I so hope you get a new boyfriend for your girl.

Sweet about the eggs but I just wanted to make sure my pair were being cared for. I have so many more pens to build yet but would gladly bump out some Guineas to make space for this pair if she could not keep them.

This hen is so devoted to the babies in the brooder, I had to remove her from the brooder when she got a little rough with some of the other wee peas, but she has stayed right by the pen sence then, today I let her back in with them and now she mothers all of them cause she don't remember which ones she hatched.

That is so kewl! I keep learning so much about the peas. I have had a chicken do this with baby ducks. Loved them babies so much she could not stand to watch them grow up! I did not know peas could be like this, too.

Love the name Cherry! Made me think of the song, "Sweet Cherry wine, so very fine!"
And of course, the babies running like that made me think, "Oh, Sweet Pea, come along with me..."
