The bird on the left in the first picture has brown on her head as well as brown crown feathers.
The two birds in the second picture do not have brown on their heads and they have light crown feathers.

Margaret8 the pics above are diffrent,,top picture in post #2679 on the left as your looking at the picture is a pied,,she has the white under her throat which in your bottom picture you would be able to see the white on the throat,across the back,and side of her wings,,the bird on the right in both pics above maybe the same but not the bird on the left.

Thang needs help,,what kind we still don't know. He's not social and doesn't play well with people, Still don't know what to do with Thang this spring. I may put solid colored hens with him to get white and pied into them.

These are certainly the same two boys as in your second picture.
But the first picture has a hen on the left...

If it is the same birds why don't both of them have white heads where if you look at the one we are calling a hen she has a brown looking head not white.
