Show off your Peas!

Pretty Muscovy chicks.

There is a restaurant on the water with outdoor seating that my parents like to go to sometimes. When I come with them we always make sure to get good seats by the edge of the outdoor deck so that when the ducks swim up, we can throw pieces of our food down to them. Once I saw a heron wading in the water down below, and in the rocks on the shore down below I noticed a rat scampering around through the rocks. The heron saw the rat too, and he pecked it on the head but wasn't able to grab it.

Peas do not mess with scovey hens they will tear them up, now a chicken will be harassed if she bows up to them when they are trying to meet the new comers, i unusually pen the hen and chicks for a few days if things get outta hand, by then the babies can keep up and the peas are use to the newcomers
It all boils down to how the hen first acts when the babies hatch, attack one pea for looking to close and the entire flock of peas will be after the hen.
My Muscovy's allow the peas to check out the babies without jumping them just for looking so they have not had any problems from the peas with the ducks.

Zaz, I've got a question. My peacock is IB so I thought. Is he susppose to have green in him. As soon as I have some good light I'll send you a pix! It's getting ready to storm here now.

Here he is. Anyone can answer this.
There are 2 Peacocks in this picture, both are black shouldered and they are the correct color for yearlings. As they mature that green will turn more and more blue. The other 4 are Peahens, 2 black shouldered and 2 IB one of those is split to white or pied.
