Show off your Peas!

I purchase Christmas cards you insert pictures in and choose my picture from what I took that year. Last year I sent a picture of a newly hatched peachick and wrote something about starting the new year fresh. I am going to send pictures of the males displaying this year

I agree I wish I had the ladder pictures that is a great shot!

Awesome pics PeaDaddy. You should make the pic with them on a ladder a Christmas card or some other type of card and send to people.

We've thought about it, actually. I think I'm going to duplicate the pic with Patches in the pic.

Make sure you put your signature on it so no one can steal your pic and pretend that it's theirs.

That's a great idea of them displaying. I wish I could take good pics but I'm terrible at taking pics. :/

George was let out today to go flying. After the illness, I wanted to get everyone settled and recovered. He is becoming quite the bird.... Very gentle, let's me pick him up, comes when called, and seems to really enjoy flying. If anyone can tell if he's a straight IB, or maybe Black Shoulder, it would be appreciated.

T.G. My little ninja. This was after a quick flight. She ducked into the tall grass, and turned into her little ninja self, hiding in the grass, waiting until I looked at the pics I had shot, and bolted to the patio.

Introducing my new birds. On the left is Ice Cream. An (allegedly) 4 mos old female Cameo Oaten. I got her from the same place I got Matrix, and you'll understand why I say "allegedly" when you see Matrix. In the middle is Patches. A 5 year old Silver Pied. He is as wild, and crazy as they come, but I am determined to get him civil. On the right is Up!. She is named for obvious reasons. She spends the majority of her day in the position you see. We were going to name her "Copper", but Up! was so fitting. She's a 4 yr old Bronze.

Matrix. The seller told me that "she" was a 5 mos old female. I'm thinking closer to a year old male. We had her named Angel, but when she became a he, we named him Matrix after the director of the movie. You'll need Google if you're not familiar with that bizarro strory.

The Birdie Bunch?

Gorgeous pics! thanks for sharing! LOVE the ladder pic!

Here are some pictures of my peafowl.
If all goes well I will have bronze spaldings from Sid Drenth next year to add to my flock!
