Show off your Peas!

In the first picture it is an opal spalding from Medicine Tree Farm. She has a green shine but it is hard to see in the pictures.
The bottom picture is of the peachicks I raised this year. They came from a pen that had a blackshoulder male, emerald spalding male, india blue split to white hen, and india blue dark pied hen. I am assuming it is an opal pied, but unfortunately I don't have it anymore. I had to sell that groups of peachicks to make room for other peachicks.

Where are you located? Are all of your Opals Spalding? I'm not big on Spaldings, but I need some hens (I have two Opal B/S boys, an IB B/S split Opal boy, and an Opal Silver Pied boy, possibly an Opal SP hen, but she's young so I can't tell for sure, so far it looks more like a hen).

Pea Daddy and Zaz: Gorgeous pics!

Blue Creek Farm: Beautiful! I especially love those greens

Took a few pictures a couple of days ago before the storm rolled in, it is windy and pouring cats and dogs outside right now.

One year old showing off to his sister. "Do I look good for the other ladies in spring?" She didn't seem impressed, lol!

Two year old showing off to same young peahen, she is not very impressed with him either!

I love when they poof up their necks

Love the Rubber neckin,,,we're in a flight path for jets going south out of O'Hare and I've caught our birds many times with cranked-contorted necks looking up.Your 2 Opal b/s males,,can you get a few more pics of them and PM them to me?Mainly the front neck going down their chest and the tail with the pic taken over their backs. When I move my new hatched 2012 peas into the Palace I'm going to do a final wing band check and record and I will know how many Opals I have left( I have 2 that was close to the last ones we hatched all year) and maybe we can see if a hen is in the bunch. I've got about 40 peachicks left over that I hid or wouldn't sell this summer, including about 6 Bronze.I think I've got about 5 Opal's as well.Checking wingbands will confirm all numbers left tho.
It's hard to believe Wylie is so friendly considering who his daddy is.

Ice Cream, Patches, and Up!,

Can you see why we changed her name from Copper to Up!?

George being put out to fly. Just love the light on this, and there is something really special about watching these birds fly.

Wow, everyone has been posting such great pictures of their wonderful birds!
Thank you all for taking the time to share them.

FaithSL - Love those youngsters showing off and not impressing. The only guy showing off here is one year old Peggy and he's not making any headway with the girls, either.
Mmmaddie - Owen looks like he really is a part of the group now (and he's so pretty). And of course...Wild Wylie...popular because of his poppa and because he's so cute!
PeaDaddy - your birds are so wonderful and you really take great pictures of them, thanks for sharing. What about Up!, is that a nervous habit? I have never seen anything like that.
