Zaz, that's hilarious!!!

We had our our water pumps freeze up and the peas were "scared" of the strange white thing for two days! Usually they check out everything but this must have looked like a scary monster! :)

I suppose from the pea-perspective, you might as well have a wrecking ball and dynamite... Like someone bull-dozing the living room

They can do nothing in them trees but they do like their seeds, these trees are considered invasive here, they can covery a field and grow 25 feet tall in about 5 years their seeds will come up in and on anything but they make good food for the birds and i like their fall colors and the fact that i can kinda shape them and make a nice shade tree out of them , oh and china berry honey is to die for it is what most bees feed on in this area when the flow is on.

.

Both of these will be planted in the green peas pen for sure.

Is that lower one a butterfly bush? So pretty!

Funny how different place call different plants different name, we call that a texas lilac bush but it can get tree size in a hurry, so it takes some sever trimming to keep it contained to an area but man what a great bush for birds to chill under.

There are also about 5 different butter fly bushes in the area .

That is a pretty butterfly bush! I bought one 2 years ago and it was a dark pink color. It didn't do well at all I think it is dead now. Does yours stay green over the winter? Maybe I got a bad variety because I did want one that had the color purple yours has, but the nursery didn't have those.

We have those invasive popcorn trees here too.

well worming day today....wow that was a blast....and I smell great
Bird man why don't you just put it in there water? That's what I do none of my peacocks have ever had worms. I find the more I have to chase after and handle birds the LESS tame they become so paranoid bcus they don't know if ur gonna just start chasing them and handling them. What I do for all my birds chickens ducks peacocks etc. I just get a chair and sit there everyday for as long as possible that way they become used to your presence and sometimes I'll put food in front if me that'll help to!!
