Haven't heard that one yet. It was about a week after I heard about the bird flu until the news did a story on it. If I'm remembering correctly right now the bird flu is in Idaho, Oregon, Washington, and Utah.

I don't think so for birds at least, humans didn't really look. I tried looking for one seeing if I could vaccinate my birds for it but it just said make it so your flock doesn't come in contact with infected birds or surfaces infected birds have come in contact with, wash your shoes and hands. Roughly without going into much detail try to keep your birds clean and away from pathogens and from stressing them out and if you do get infected birds remove them from the flock. The news wants people to call rather Fish & Game or some other # for removing the infected bird or body. Though I still find it funny when the news said do not come in contact with birds and if you do wash your hands.

Yes. So far it's been mainly found in Mallard ducks and Canadian geese.
