If this has been going on over a month and the meds you have given have not reduced this , then it has hardened and will not just go away on it's own IMO At least i have never heard of anyone getting a hard mass to go away with meds sense i have been learning about peafowl the last 5 years, plus i have never had this happen to any type of bird i have ownedI'll have to try that first lol before I resort to cutting
If i took this bird to my vet even if he does not do peacocks i know he would recommend removing it if it has hardened, at this point there is a good chance the bird is blind in this eye now from all the continuous pressure on the eye which can inhibit blood flow to the eye. just sayen.

I know it is a scary thing to think we have to do surgery on our own birds but as their care taker we have to be ready for anything or be ready to take them to the vet and pay to have it done
