Show off your Peas!

I cannot be sure until I start breeding, but I think my 2 Bronze(1 BS Male and 1 barred wing female) are split to pied, not white. I do not remember exact genetics on them, but it seems no parents were pied, but there were some split to Pied and split to WE.
Both parents need to be split to white in order to get a split white offspring from them, are they from the same parents?

Okay I went back and checked. They came from a pen with a Bronze BS male and 4 hens. One hen was IBBS split Bronze, one hen was Bronze WE, the other 2 hens were straight Bronze in appearance and it is unknown if they have any splits. I do not think any of mine are split white, but I am thinking split Pied or split WE. Which means I will need to breed in White at some point to get Pieds.

I too am hooked on the pieds. I do not have any but not from the lack of trying!

I'm pretty confident that the two whites I bought back in October are both males so I'll be back in the market for trading or selling then I'll be on the hunt again.

Very Beautiful bird @q8peafowl!

It's funny, when I saw my first Pieds years ago I really didn't like them much. However, the ones I saw were not very "showy" probably split whites or split Pieds or dark Pieds. When I got Harley dumped in my lap along with his twin brother, is when I really fell for them. Most people that come here feel the same way about him, he is probably around 15 now and still the one that makes everyone look twice. I rehomed his brother to a friend and she still has him as well.
