Show off your Peas!

Any sign of him? They will often show back up the morning after getting spooked. Mine will do the fluff and honk anytime anything strange is seen, helicopters, garbage trucks, loose cows, all have caused this behaviour before.
Yes he came back after 8 hours ;)

I was so so so happy when I went back to the woods to look for him i saw a huge owl not to far from my house ...I have a question ..will my 9 months male will he get his long eyes tale this year ??

Hopefully that was not a Great Horned Owl you saw. Great Horned Owls are perfectly capable of and will kill full grown male Peacocks if they are not protected by an enclosure. Your 9 month old male will not get a long train with eyes until he is about 3 years old, these males almost 2 years old.

thoughts if this pair is purple

They certainly look like Purples, but the color of the photos looks a bit washed out and that can make it hard to say for certain. The male also looks like he is split to BS, judging by those solid patches on his shoulders.

those pics were taken under a tarp so no lite shined thru...to the eye they look blue and if you just move alittle bit and get the light in the right angle then you see the purple...they were also just taken out of a bag...thats how they shipped them...dont like this method of shipping cause when you let them out they are wobbly and off balance...but i just got the pair....was an easter treat i guess....wormed them already and they seem like there doing fine...my thought was it was split to something cause they dont look like the pics you find online..even tho..each site has pics of different purple birds...hopkins, leggs, and the upa...all have diff pics...well hope everyone had a great easter...i hatched close to a hundred birds...wow...that was fun....for sure

So I picked this gentleman up this weekend at an animal rescue. He looks like he has some pied in him and compared to my pure IB juvies he is more of a green color. I've not seen him display yet but his train looks green to purple in the sunlight and very dark in low light. Any ideas what he may be? He's adjusting well and I think he'll be eating from our hand in no time!

And by the way I wasn't happy because I see the huge owl but because my bs male came back that's why I'm so happy and im really worried about that owl Cuz it's huge it's all brown with great big wings
