Show off your Peas!

Those pictures are great, I love those new trains.
The two year old's train is exceptional. I have never had any of my peacocks have a train at two years old, but currently one of my two year old Burmese boys has a few eye feathers and one long "v" train feather that looks very odd.

Time to resurrect this thread!

The kiddos got new perches inside today, I'd say they like 'em. :)

ETA:
I've still got cardboard covering the windows (it's just hardware cloth, no shutters yet), and the bottom couple feet for drafts. In case anyone was wondering. ;) They're still kind of sensitive to cold. And they've got two heat lamps in there as well, but we moved them up to the ceiling now so that they don't get bumped when they hop onto their perches.

Well I'll have to sneak in here to show off my sweet boy Peggy...
He's been displaying even though he only has about 4 eye feathers this year! Practicing for next year, I guess.

Your gang looks great , Mmmaddie!
**Is that Wylie???**

*edited to add:
Not to depress you people in cold places, but I have to report that I just took this picture of Peggy outside, where it's 76 degrees today...

It sure is! I think I'd be willing to bet money that Wylie is a boy. He's the most enthusiastic displayer I have! I've also seen him mount Watson (who is supposed to be a boy as well...) a couple times. He's all that and a bag of chips just like his daddy Wild Thang. :)
They're a little scruffy right now because they've had to stay inside for so long, it's been below freezing here for about 3-4 weeks. But luckily it's been warming up lately and they've gotten to go outside to stretch their wings. :)

If you can get behind Wylie when he is fanning and winks with his anal muscle , that is a sure sign of a male i now know i have 2 white males out of my last batch

zaz But also if true that is too wild. I learned something totally new. Also glad your husbands fine. Pretty passle of peas MMMaddie. Pretty peafowl new2pfowl. I love when they display.

I can't wait until I capture my fellas in full display. Right now when they see me they quickly close their tails down. I am still too new to them but I am sure once I get them home then I will be able to catch them better and snap some beautiful photos.

I named this boy Bridges because he is a cross between a Bronze male and a IB hen. I have no idea how I am going to breed him but he has another year to go, I think.

My handsome man, Majesty. The IB black shoulder white eyes are very lovely!

Velocity is really incredible to me. He and Zazous are my favorite variety! Though I believe Zazous will have a more colorful train.

And Zazous's beautiful Dilly girl.

Can't wait to see what this year gives me with these beauties!
