just got done redoing the bedding with straw..put down seven dust...and they dont look like they are doing it as much......but what i forgot to put in the problem part...is that they are opening and closing their mouths really fast when they shake their heads and scratch at their face....could this be capillary worms...? i did put down seven dust earlier....man i cant wait for them to get on sand in the new coops...seems like with all the birds there is less problems with everything since i added sand....they have at the feed store liquid stuff for mights that i could get and put in a sprayer and spray them in the morning...i think i will get some and do this....
kskingbee i had a baby chicken that got feed in its eye and i noticed it was swollen so i took it out and put it under slow running water a week later she is doing better...never had that happen before....also my peas have no swelling of the face or discharge or anything like that...still learning tho...
thanks for the advice...and still no pea eggs...got 30 pheasant eggs
It could be the beginning of a respiratory problem. Keep an eye on the sinus area and if it begins to swell start them on Tylan.
