I don’t think she is of any color. As I have no experience with peafowls im new to it. And I’ve never seen silverpied birds until I bought them! Wasn’t trying to debate on anything just needed somebodies help to understand better! What color do you think she is? And why do you think she is something different than IB?
I thought maybe you had some knowledge of what the parents are, that will give you a lot of background genetic information and clues as to what you may expect.I don’t think she is of any color. Two year hens normally lay at least one clutch of eggs. Two year old cocks will breed if they have a couple of eye feathers.View attachment 1369390 View attachment 1369391 View attachment 1369392 View attachment 1369393 Couple of my IB blackshoulder peacocks showing off their bad looking 2 yr old trains. And my IB blackshoulder brood pen, then my IB pied pair I’m hoping will lay a couple eggs this year but nothing yet... do y’all usually get eggs from 2 yr old hens?? and would the be fertile with a 2 yr old male?
Here is the closeup of her neck and back. I couldn’t get her wingtag, hart to catch her without stressing her and her babies. But this is the the best I could get, what do you think?Do you have a closeup of the back of her neck? You can send the wing tag number back to the breeder and ask for the parentage of the birds.
