Kuntrygirl Thats my first green I got. He likes to get on the perch and look over at the big pen. The two boy Javas are friendly now. Goldilocks ate from my hand today! She follows him around sometimes and my brother told me he was displaying for her yesterday.

Oh my goodness! Just saw Rocky Hill's purple Spalding and I think I need one!!! I have a pair of IB pieds, but purple is my new favorite color! My husband is going to hate my hobby in no time

I just got a young purple hen that i'll breed him with next year.....can't wait to see what comes from that....

That is great news!! I wasn't sure when she would eat out of your hand because when I penned her seperately one day she was kind of mad at me once I let her back in the pen with the others and she wouldn't let me get near her and she wouldn't take food from my hand.

Well it is good that she now has a peacock to display for her. Peep mainly displays for me, the white peacock hardly ever displays, and Alto my adult peacock favors the peahens with more color. He likes to display at my India blue split to white peahen Xena a lot. Now Goldilocks can have more attention and she can be the dominant peahen.
