Show off your Peas!

My babies are growing up.

these boys will be a year in july and august and the male to the left has 2 tiny eye feathers.

This couple will be 2 in August

We been fighting the rain trying to get this pond dug , just finished pumping it out 2 days ago and now the rains are comming again.. but it is gonna be nice out there, a get away of sorts as it is away from the rest of the farm so to speak, we cleared 2 acres in the middle of the woods so it is very secluded.

Can any of you pea fanciers give a general idea on the hatch rate of shipped eggs ,, and what special procedures are needed for incubating and brooding hatchlings as opposed to poultry ? Tnx

I had 0% luck with shipped hatching eggs. Maybe someone with more pea experience would have better luck. I hatch shipped chicken eggs, but I will never buy another pea-hatching egg. I'm having good luck hatching my own eggs though!

Here's little Chicken Girl on her nest...
She's on the roof of a gazebo, so happy she's off the ground.
I feel like i am spying on her when i see this photo, great catch
