Show off your Peas!

Here are the tail feathers:

And look! Color on her lorus, and she IS NOT a peacock.

She she displays is her tail in the circular shape of a peahen?

Now to kind of stick to the purpose of this thread, here are some pictures.

Bronze Progressive Pied White Eye Peacock

Spalding peacock. I have to get creative with his train pictures since his train is awful. Its kind of see through in the spot he ate his feathers.

Opal WE Peacock

He rarely displays when I have my camera with me. That is the best I can get so far.

How old is your Bronze Prog. Pied WE now? Your Opal looks very pretty, I hope Opie looks that good when he is older. And if you get a chance, pm me a pic of your spalding boy's train and I'll send you one of Fred's. We can compare "Tragically Mutilated Trains". I had to get creative as well, because he has picked/broken off the last 6 inches of all his longest train feathers. Don't know what is up with that, he didn't do it last year, and they are not eaten, I find them laying around on the ground of the pen.

Thank you! The Bronze Prog Pied WE is going to turn a year old this June. I have two peacocks out of that pen. They were easy to tell apart when they were younger, but now I cannot which one was the one that was a few weeks older... I will look through the train pictures and send them to you.

George:

He's gets around pretty good with his bum leg.

One of the most expensive strays to wander in, but he's a beauty!

He was shot and his leg was shattered. I was absolutely delighted to save his leg. Although the joint is immobile he can 'peg' the leg and still maneuver about.
