Perhaps those mystery chicks are Cameo peachicks.

Well that was my first thought too but I read here that cameo start out yellow and turn color.

I have also read here that Peach came from cameo and Purple, I don't know what all is hiding in my Cameo hens. The BS they are bred to also has Cameo in his background or so the breeder said. Actually he said that he started out with only Cameos and didn't know how he got BS birds from them.

Thanks Kathy, I have read that thread and am hoping against hope that they are Peach, that would be a lot cooler than more Cameos, I am just waiting for some confirmation from someone that knows for sure. Peach Pied looks delish, ratz smileys aren't working...

Cameo chicks don't start out light. However the first photos you had with the pied chick are likely cameo. The later ones that are yellow with cream coloured wing feathers are BS, but a couple of weeks will tell you if they too are cameo.

Purple did not originate from cameo. If you check out roughwood aviaries and their booklet on purple, it originated from a BS hen. The likely hobo that your cameos are carrying peach is slim (not entire impossible, but slim). I would still bet on cameo chicks, both barred winged pattern and pied, with the BS chick being a highly probable cameo BS.

Yes that ended up being a cameo split white peahen. I believe she is the one I still have.
