Our boys train is growing in nicely. This pic is from 11/5. He is just coming in at 3 yrs old this spring/summer.
Now a pic of today's train. It's a gloomy day here today but I take the pics as I can get them!

He seems to have one pullet that won't stop following him! Lol! She just doesn't get that it's not for her!

I was getting a little help in the yard today...



They were 'marking' the wood where it needed to be cut.


Of course the Royals could not be outdone!
The hen turkey on the right hatched out that guinea sitting next to her. That keet has been cooped with the rest of the keets for a couple of months until we set them out to free range. That keet has not left 'mommas' side since it has been out! I thought it would have forgotten her by now, or her, it. Either way they have found each other now.


A couple of slackers playing when the others were marking the wood cuts.


I need to find that action setting on the camera.

Are most of those photos the same two white peafowl?

two of the seven are banded with a red and a blue tie...the rest are not marked...just wondering if anyone would make a guess on the sex of these birds...I have no idea

Based on body structure I would go with Red girl blue boy. Try and get them to fan in some way and get a photo. It will make it easier to sex them.

Ok, I'll guess. The ones with red rings are girls and the blue ones are boys.

We bought three white chicks this summer. We used the ring on a string and thought we had a trio. Well now they are six months old and one is a LOT bigger than the other two. He has a bigger head, neck, legs, feet, heck, he is just big all over. They were all about the same size when we got them so we are fairly certain we got our trio.
