Show off your Peas!

Tried to quote, but computer still fighting with redirects.

Good job on the dead rattlesnake... extra treats for everybody! (Hey, does your vet give the rattlesnake vaccine shots to your dogs?)

Your birds look like egrets, herons and storks... didn't know you had such lakefront property

It was drizzling here this morning, but kinda sorta cleared this afternoon. Snow on the way. Would send you the sunshine, but there's not enough to put in an envelope. Looks like I should be sending an inflatable raft instead.

@Bluecreekfarms , these are for you

The wee peas have been staying in the house all day, pretty much... not happy about the weather at all. But the opal SP hen chick came out for afternoon snack time... photos aren't great, but it's cold and damp out there.

This second photo is a little deceptive, because the lighting and the angle makes her look a bit bigger than she really is. However, you can see that she is definitely not small, and she has grown like a weed since she got here.

The spalding hen chick was not interested in coming out, even for treats. She hung out a bit more than the SP this morning, perched in what passed for sunshine for a little while, then went back to the bird house where it was warmer. I think she will be very happy when spring shows up. She's just a hair smaller than the opal chick.

Thanks! They are from 2014 hatch. The opal silver pied hen chick is from @Bluecreekfarms , and he was kind enough to pick up the purple pied spalding hen chick from Taylor Hill for me so he could ship them together. He certainly sent me a nice pair of babies
