Show off your Peas!

Years ago I raised Arabs and in summer I pastured them all out together. The horse flies were awful and it seemed like no matter what I tried it didn't last long and I would spend hours out with them killing the flies. It was amazing how upset people that came to see them would get when my stallion would come running up to us and present his rear when we entered the pasture.
I know what you mean, horse flys would be real bad one year and the next year there would hardly be any, all my horses wanted their butts scratched especial when the dear flys were bad.

A few years ago there was an over abundance of horseflies so I would take a net used for capturing minnows and swing it in the air and I would end up with at least 3 each time. My turtles gorged themselves on the captured horseflies. The next year there was hardly any, my turtles were sad.

This is how many neck and train covert feathers I have left. Does anyone want to take a guess on how many there are in each pile? I will give you a clue it's in the hundreds.

Craigslist I have but lately I've been getting people saying they want some and then a half an hour before they come out to buy them they cancel. Luckily I just found a fly fishing store that said they will accept the price I want for them they just want to see the feather quality. I'm hoping they will buy all 147 neck, 163 train covert, and the remaining 66 train feathers. If so then my dad might start to see different on peafowl if I'm able to get a business with them going.
