Show off your Peas!

I ain't hatched nothing but some eggs a guinea left in the nest after leaving with a few that had hatched, other than that my birds have done all the hatching from geese to guinea but no fertile pea eggs so maybe next year.

Sorry to hear that . Don't feel bad. I am in the same boat with you. I had a handful of peas to hatch this year but this was my first year and first time incubating ever. We will have better luck next year. :fl

Don't be sorry i took this year off from hatching, i sold over 300 adult guineas this year so i made my money without hatching.

Ladies and gents, it is my pleasure to introduce to you the nine newest members of the pea family here. They came from FrenchBlackCopper all the way in Illinois! Took them about 37 hours from packing to unpacking, but now they're safe and happy and I'm totally in love with all of them!!! Get ready for a picture explosion. :) Click the photos to enlarge.

First we'll start off with my beautiful Opal Black Shoulder trio.

#50 hen

#51 hen

and #52 male

I also got an adorable trio of India Blue Black Shoulder Silver Pied (that's a mouthful). I can't tell the hens apart quite yet, except for the numbers on the wing bands (smart thinking, FBC, now I understand why those exist LOL).

#75 hen

#77 hen (she's a talker)

And Watson, the little boy. He's a bit of a showoff already. He found the perch in their house and was so proud when he hopped up on top of it. Silly little guy.

Last but not least, the offspring of my favorite boy of Randy's, Wild Thang the IB Pied. I got two that look to be purple, one has white flights and a white throat patch, the other is solid, and then one pure white.

#58

#38

And this cute little face is Wylie, the white. :)

Happy babies in their new home, that's one of the BSSP up on that perch.

My four first babies in their new home, too. Right across from the new guys. :)

Being cute for mealworms.

I must say, it's been a bit of a bumpy start to raising peas, but it is well worth it, and I wouldn't have it any other way. I love each and every one of them. <3 Thank you all for being there to guide me and for all being AWESOME!!! Hope everyone is having an excellent day! Enjoy the pictures. :)
