Beautiful coloration on him, he's quite stunning.

Thank you! This is actually an old photo of him. Lately he's gotten shinier feathers and deeper red coloration. Kinda disappointed that I don't have a more recent pic. lol

I was looking at yours and thought the same thing! They look almost EXACTLY alike. Even more alike than Henry and his brother Soldier do!

The chick looks like a grey. But thats weird if his mom is Black and dad is BBR.. And that rooster is pretty dark for BBR.. looks like he has some black in him

You think grey? To me the feathers coming in on his body look blue. My rooster ,the chicks father was solid black until about 3 mts of age. I hatched him and a hen last May, both black chicks with black beaks and legs. My hen ,the mother of the chick is black beak legs and feathers. The baby roo has a sister , black .. I'm not 100% sure of the breed. I think Shamo Thai mix.
