Thawed a young and tender pork tenderloin out last night. It is literally like slightly thicker than a paper towel tube.
It from a batch of pigs last season that tire kickers didn't buy because they wanted something for nothing. When they don't sell, they go in our freezer! That's what we flat out tell them. We don't spend all that money on feed just to be desperate to sell at a loss. Hubby tells the tire kickers flat out when they start to haggle- "Sorry bub, I'll BBQ it before I lose my a__ on it". Anyway, tonight is one of those meals from such a scenario. Our gain is their loss.

I am alone with the animals this weekend. I love it when my babies get me out of doing things I don't want to do. Plus, the salt mines require my labor tomorrow and I couldn't get the day off. It's cool, I'd rather work than go to California.

I haven't been able to have whatever I want without considering others tastebuds in a long while. Now I can't figure out what I want and I need to go shopping
