Pumpkin Pie

Thank you. I've used this recipe for years. It's not overly sweet and makes a deep dish pie.

I started the pecan pie. It said nothing about what size crockpot, and I doubted myself. Rather than using the small one, I went with the standard big one. Ummm. Bad decision. It’s fine, don’t get me wrong! But it’s more of a flat pie. I’m not sure what would happen if you doubled the recipe.
It also says to spray the crock. This isn’t typical of pie, but I did it. Either don’t do it, or spray very lightly.

It’s only been half an hour, and it’s already wafting through the house. Pecan pie may be like other foods I’ve never cared for. It just might be downright delicious if I make it.
